Curbay

Find the right opportunity. Get in the room.

Curbay learns your experience, finds roles and people worth reaching, and prepares thoughtful outreach you approve before it goes out.

Curbay never sends a message on your behalf. You approve every one.

ApproveEdit

Approving creates a Gmail draft. Nothing is sent for you.

  • Nothing sends itself

Approving a draft creates it in your Gmail. You press send.

  • Your own connections

Curbay works through the Gmail account you connect, and you can disconnect it at any time.

  • Your data stays yours

Your profile, matches and drafts are isolated to your account at the database level.

The search is not hard because you lack effort.

It is hard because the work is scattered. Curbay puts the finding, the research and the writing in one place, and leaves the judgement to you.

Searching by hand

  • Nine job boards, each with its own filters and stale listings.
  • Twenty tabs open, no record of what you already looked at.
  • The same intro message rewritten from scratch every time.
  • No idea who to contact, so the application goes into a portal.

With Curbay

  • One ranked list, scored against the experience you actually have.
  • Every role kept with its source, its date and why it matched.
  • A tailored draft per contact, with the reasoning shown.
  • A named person to reach, with the evidence Curbay used to find them.

The product

Roles, people, outreach and tracking in one workspace.

Curbay shows its work: where a role came from, why it matched you, who it found and what it wrote. Every step is inspectable.

What you can do

Six ways to work, one workspace.

  • Discover roles

Curbay searches job sources continuously and scores what it finds against your experience.

  • Research companies

Each role arrives with its source, the listing and the context Curbay gathered.

  • Find contacts

Curbay looks for a relevant person at the organisation and shows the evidence it used.

  • Compose outreach

A draft written from the role and the person's public work, with its reasoning attached.

  • Track pipeline

Shortlisted, applied, in outreach, interviewing — the states you set, not inferred ones.

  • Ask Curbay

Questions about your own pipeline, answered from your records rather than guesses.

How it works

Watch the work, then approve it.

Curbay is not a chat window. It runs a sequence you can inspect at every step, and it stops at the one that matters.

  1. You set the goal

Target roles, locations, seniority and the kind of work you want.

  2. Curbay reads your experience

From your resume and the profile facts you confirm. You can correct any of them.

  3. It searches and scores

Roles from job sources, ranked against your experience, each with its reasoning.

  4. It finds a person to reach

A relevant contact at the organisation, with the evidence that led there.

  5. It drafts, you decide

Read it, edit it, approve or reject it. Nothing leaves until you approve.

  6. Everything is logged

What ran, what it found, what you decided and when.

ApproveEdit

Approving creates a Gmail draft. Nothing is sent for you.

Approving creates a draft in your own Gmail account. Curbay does not send email for you, and it cannot act on an unapproved draft.

Privacy

You connect it, you approve it, you can disconnect it.

Curbay works through your own accounts rather than a shared sending service, so the boundary of what it can do is the access you grant.

What Curbay does

  • Reads the resume and profile facts you give it.
  • Looks at public job listings and public professional pages.
  • Works through the Gmail account you connect, and only that one.
  • Keeps your matches, drafts and decisions scoped to your account.

What Curbay does not do

  • Send email, or take any outbound action, without your approval.
  • Read your inbox. Curbay writes drafts; it does not browse your mail.
  • Post as you, message you on other channels, or contact anyone on its own.
  • Share your profile or pipeline with other users.
Illustrative example

One role, start to finish.

Curbay has not launched, so there are no customer stories to show yet. Instead, here is exactly what the product does with a single opportunity.

  1. The role

Senior Product Designer at Northwind Labs, remote in the UK. Found on a company job board, not a job aggregator.

  2. Why it matched

Eight years of product design, two of them leading a design system — the responsibilities the listing names most often.

  3. The gap it flagged

The listing asks for fintech experience you do not have. Curbay shows that rather than hiding it.

  4. The person

A design lead at the organisation, found from a public team page and a conference talk listing. Both sources shown.

  5. The draft

Four sentences referencing the talk and your design-system work, with a specific question about their team structure.

  6. Your decision

You edit the second sentence and approve. Curbay creates the draft in your Gmail. You read it once more and send it yourself.

Northwind Labs is a fictional organisation used for this walkthrough. No part of this example describes a real person, employer, message or outcome.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

  • What does Curbay actually automate?

Finding roles, scoring them against your experience, researching a relevant contact, and writing a draft. It stops there. Reviewing, approving and sending stay with you.

  • Can it send email without me?

No. Approving a draft creates it in your Gmail account; you open it and send it. There is no mode that sends on your behalf, and an unapproved draft cannot be acted on.

  • What data does it access?

The resume and profile details you provide, public job listings, and public professional pages for the contacts it suggests. It connects to the Gmail account you authorise in order to create drafts.

  • Does it read my inbox?

No. Curbay creates drafts. Replies are something you tell it about — it does not browse your mail to find them.

  • Where does a suggested contact come from?

Every contact is shown with the sources Curbay used to find them, so you can judge whether reaching out makes sense before anything is drafted.

  • What does it cost?

Curbay has not launched publicly and pricing has not been announced yet.

  • How do I stop or cancel?

Disconnect Gmail in Settings at any time and Curbay can no longer create drafts. For removing your account and data, contact us — the self-serve deletion flow is still being built.

Applying is not the hard part. Getting noticed is.

Curbay does the finding and the first draft. You keep the judgement and the final word.
